Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Overview

A business development executive is required to drive growth through strategic partnerships and talent acquisition.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for building strong relationships and delivering meaningful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities across various technology vendors.
  • Provide pre-sales support to sales representatives and customers for workplace client hardware solutions.
  • Identify new hardware-buying customers and upsell/cross-sell within existing accounts.
  • Create compelling customer proposals and competitive pricing comparisons for vendor solutions.
  • Deliver product roadmaps, licensing options, and financial insights tailored to client needs.
  • Represent the company at customer events, presenting relevant content and solutions.
  • Design and deliver internal training for sales teams on vendor products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with local sales teams to drive joint territory and account engagement.
  • Prepare and present vendor-specific training to internal stakeholders and sales teams.
  • Coordinate with vendor account executives, attend industry events, and serve as a speaker as needed.
  • Continuously analyze customer needs to identify growth and solution opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience, including 3+ years in a sales or marketing role.
  • Previous experience in the IT industry is required.
  • Hands-on experience selling and working with Apple workplace hardware (MacBooks, iPads, and related devices) is required. Experience with Apple's business ecosystem and solutions beyond mobile phones is strongly preferred.
  • Solid background in vendor licensing and partner engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of PC OEMs and workplace hardware products.
  • Excellent customer-facing presentation skills, with strong verbal and written communication.
  • Confidence in leading executive-level meetings and engagements.
  • Ability to develop effective strategies and tactics to meet business objectives.
  • A strong sense of competition and a drive to win.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks and priorities independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for vendor events as needed.
  • Willing to work a night shift schedule.
