The Benefits Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring patients have clear, accurate information about their insurance coverage. This includes verifying benefits and running prescription monitoring program reports to support safe prescribing practices.

As a friendly and supportive resource, the Benefits Coordinator helps remove barriers so patients can focus on their mental health journey.

• Contract with patients to ensure timely verifications are completed
• Communicate 1:1 with patients, providing accurate and current information regarding their coverage
• Run prescription history reports through the prescription monitoring platform
• Enter client personal health information and other clinical data

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Tech-savvy with ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients needing mental health care
• Strong knowledge of health insurance and ability to provide patients with accurate information related to their coverage
