Key role for a talented IT professional to oversee and optimize our company's technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, networks and servers.


Responsibilities
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS and Google Cloud) and ensure seamless integration with multi-cloud environments.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency.
  • Design and implement alerting and monitoring systems to provide real-time visibility into system logs.
  • Develop tools to mitigate weaknesses in incident management or software delivery pipelines.
  • Provide timely support and troubleshooting for escalated requests, working closely with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Plan and execute upgrades, installations and configurations of new hardware and software to meet business objectives.
  • Implement robust security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats and safeguard sensitive data.
  • Administer user access and perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes and procedures, as well as backing up and archiving critical data.
  • Develop comprehensive data retrieval and recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of failures.
  • Establish efficient feedback and error reporting systems to improve end-user experience.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in IT administration, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Oracle or Cisco are highly desirable.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT systems, networks and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in IT administration and system security.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
