Overview

As a senior data analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires 2 years of experience working on data analysis or related formal educational experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in writing complex formulas and have an understanding of relational databases and the ability to write basic SQL queries.

You will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to analyze problems of moderate complexity and apply professional concepts to determine appropriate action and solve complex problems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality results. You will receive moderate guidance and direction from others but will also be expected to take ownership of your projects and deliver results independently.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in solution design discussions and contribute recommendations on how data requirements can be met
  • Develop and maintain complex data models and dashboards
  • Ensure all development adheres to the team's development framework
  • Implement solutions following the appropriate change and code control processes and tools
  • Monitor production of own and team member solutions and ensure production issues are quickly identified and analyzed
Qualifications
  • Must have at least 2 years' experience working on data analysis or related formal educational experience
  • Proven track record in writing complex formulas
  • Understanding of relational databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding outages and data governance issues
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
