Business Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Analytics Specialist to support our business transformation and innovation strategies.


About the Role
  • This role involves delivering data science support to drive business growth, improve revenue potential, and enhance customer experience through data-driven insights.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to develop and execute analytical techniques, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to inform key business decisions.
  • You will partner with cross-functional teams to leverage data analytics thought-leadership, drive strategic planning, and measure the impact of campaigns and initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and performance metrics that support business outcomes.
  • Build and deploy scoring/segmentation models to improve digital channel enrollment, usage, and engagement.
  • Influence customer targeting, campaign strategy, and execution by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Aid in the development and execution of new innovation strategies to drive business growth.
  • Provide promo forecast and insights, including relevant portfolio metrics, profit and loss targets, and identify customer segments to tap.
  • Partner with program/product managers to continuously enhance programs through post-campaign reviews, tracking reports, and analyses.
  • Spearhead deep dive analyses of customers to investigate business-related challenges or identify new trends and opportunities to improve KPI metrics.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Finance, IT, Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to measure P&L impact of campaigns, co-brands, and partnerships.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, or mathematics.
  • At least 4 years of analytics experience in a financial institution, preferably from a retail bank or credit card company.
  • Experience dealing with various units of the organization and customer service is an advantage.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of SAS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in model-building, conducting portfolio studies using data mining techniques and statistical modeling tools is required.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, ability to translate and articulate technical thoughts and ideas to a larger audience.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in a financial industry setting are essential.
