The Payment Operations Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless payment operations. Key responsibilities include onboarding payment methods, coordinating with clients, and resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities- Payment Method Onboarding: Process payment method applications, conduct initial screening, and submit documentation to partners for approval.
- Client Coordination: Communicate with clients regarding application status, rejections, and reapplications to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Transaction Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation to verify that all transactions are accurately recorded and aligned with reports from partners.
- Issue Resolution & Adhoc Tasks: Support day-to-day payment operations by investigating and resolving issues such as missing payments, failed payouts, and discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency within payment operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Prior experience in payment operations, treasury, or financial operations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to reconcile large sets of data.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients and external partners.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exposure to the fast-paced world of payments and financial operations.
