We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service Activities:">
    • ">
    • Achieve sales goals and contact center metrics by providing exceptional customer service and meeting customer needs.">
    • Work collaboratively with the team to contribute to achieving service metrics and all contact center goals.">
    • Manage calls in a professional, timely, and appropriate manner, answering incoming customer calls, emails, or chat requests for information and resolution of issues or sales inputs within defined SLAs.">
    • Actively reach out to assigned customers to inquire about additional sales opportunities.">
    • Identify and recognize proactive sales opportunities during customer engagement conversations.">
    • Recognize and route proactive sales opportunities to management when applicable and/or enter opportunity details into provided tools.">
    • Follow up on product backorders and order management.">
    • Configure components to identify or clarify basic to complex customer solutions.">
    • Complete outbound calls to new/existing customer bases and/or email communications to new/existing or prospective customers on company initiatives such as standard outcall campaigns, event recruitment, or vendor leads.">
    • Advise and recommend product options, add-ons, and solutions best suited for customers and their end users.">
    • Maintain and apply product/vendor knowledge applicable to fulfill customer requests and capitalize on add-on solution selling opportunities.">
    • Maintain positive relationships with customers, consultants, and ensure satisfaction with services, monitor and maintain service level expectations, and perpetuate a best-in-class reputation. Manage relationships with designated contacts (i.e., purchasing agents) in efforts to grow sales and maintain business partnerships.">
    • Provide price and availability information within defined guidelines.">
    • Submit, track, and escalate quotes/orders from customers.">
    • Resolve and/or route credit-related issues.">
    • Effectively investigate/escalate and resolve customer complaints and issues.">

  • Order Management and Customer Service Activities:">
    • ">
    • Perform all transactions accurately and meeting departmental SLAs.">
    • Enter orders into the system pursuant to individual order characteristic requirements. Orders may be received via email, chat, telephone, or other relevant sources/channels.">
    • Manage orders by auditing orders for completion and accuracy.">
    • Process claims, redo/replacement orders, or issue in-store credit.">

  • Training:">
    • ">
    • Attend all required trainings and display appropriate knowledge of materials.">
    • Attend Contact Center training and achieve a passing mark in assessments.">
    • Complete and pass self-paced trainings and monthly learning checks in a timely manner.">

  • Miscellaneous Activities:">
    • ">
    • Assist the Contact Center Team with administrative duties as assigned.">
    • Perform all other duties as designated by management.">
    • Perform ongoing maintenance of Customer Profiles for customer base (updating records in Admin Panel, FreshDesk, and other tools).">
