Job Overview

The Software Development Specialist creates high-performance software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement application design, coding, caching, security, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, and testing.
  • Develop frameworks and processes for applications using existing technologies in a structured manner.
  • Create efficient stored procedures and queries in MS SQL.
  • Evaluate and improve application performance.
  • Coordinate projects, derive requirements, design software, and implement solutions.
  • Work with the development team to deliver customer-centric experiences.
  • Perform unit and system-level testing on applications.
  • Collaborate with product teams, product management, and services to assist with upgrade testing and issue resolution.
  • Address technical escalations.
  • Develop automation tools, utilities, and scripts.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience with .NET Technologies (.NET Core, ASP.Net, MVC 4.0 or above) using C# as primary language.
  • 3+ years' experience with SQL Server 2019 or above.
  • Working knowledge of microservice architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with publishing and consuming RESTful APIs programmatically.
  • Experience preparing unit tests with Nunit or Xunit.
  • Experience working with distributed source control like GIT.
  • Healthcare experience is preferable.
  • Strong experience in writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Solid foundation in computer science with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Effective communication skills within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and directed with high attention to detail.
  • Prioritize and efficiently execute tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
