Job Title: Senior Operations Analyst

This role is responsible for the functional design and development of eTrace, a Warehouse and Shopfloor execution system. The ideal candidate will take ownership of technical development and/or functional support of other applications to support manufacturing activities and fulfill business requirements.

  1. Technical Development:
  • Analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions to project managers.
  • Plan and document functional requirements for features and system design.
  • Design, build, and configure new function modules in eTrace to meet business process and application requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, code, test, and debug applications.
  • Provide sustaining support to eTrace with enhancement releases and data maintenance adhering to IT Change Management Processes.
Standardization and Rollout:
  • Ensure standardization of the eTrace solution across all Advanced Energy factories. Roll out newly developed modules to new manufacturing sites as appropriate.
  • Perform functional and/or technical assessments of rolling out eTrace to other facilities.
  • Develop an execution plan and ensure seamless go-live with minimal impact to operations. Prepare contingency plans to handle exceptions.
  • C Coach local application support teams to familiarize them with eTrace technical details, ensuring timely and effective support after eTrace rollout.
Team Coaching and Mentoring:
  • Guide team members to successfully accomplish their objectives.
  • Continuously train and develop the team in various technologies and incorporate them in development activities.
  • Engage vendors to provide timely training on new feature functions, handheld device, printer technologies, EDI technologies, and equipment interfaces.
  • Ensure strict adherence to SOX and Change management practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in manufacturing execution system development/support. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, S4) is desirable. A bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or Software Engineering, or equivalent education, is essential.
