Financial Model Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Model Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of active assignments and leading the development of comprehensive financial models.


The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel. They will also possess a good appreciation of accounting concepts, an accounting qualification being beneficial.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of active assignments and leading in creating comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Developing and refining assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under senior management guidance to ensure model robustness and reliability.
  • Discussing commercial issues with clients and ensuring they are accurately reflected in the model.
  • Performing sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs, aiding clients in informed decision-making.

Other key responsibilities include contributing to developing and enhancing financial modeling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.


Additionally, the successful candidate will lead project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.


Qualifications include 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role within an advisory practice or large corporate setting. A degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial. Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to train, motivate, and manage junior team members on assignments.


Personal Qualities

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
