Role Overview

This is an individual contributor position based remotely. We are seeking a skilled professional to drive research and provide thought leadership in the field of supply chain planning technology.

The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, writing, and advising on emerging trends and technologies in supply chain planning, as well as defining business models and ecosystems.

Key responsibilities include advising clients on tool selection, implementation, and execution, contributing to Gartner-wide research and ideation, and delivering presentations to large audiences.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must have significant experience in developing, managing, or using supply chain planning technologies and a robust understanding of key planning processes such as sales and operations planning (S&OP), integrated business planning (IBP), demand planning (DP), and supply planning (SP).

Skills and experience requirements include excellent writing and data visualization skills, complex problem-solving abilities, and the ability to engage and advise senior business and technology executives.

  • Experience working in increasingly senior roles with a focus on supply chain planning and technology.
  • Strong communication skills with evidence of presenting to or advising senior executives.
  • A strong work ethic, working both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
