Derivatives Operations Expert

We are seeking an experienced Derivatives Operations Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of trade data, validating trades, and supporting the overall trade lifecycle.

This role is critical in maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.


Responsibilities:
  • Trade Data Management
    • Manage trade date to settlement date processes; develop expertise on pre-matching and confirmation, trade processing, cash transfer, instruction routing, funding, and settlement monitoring.
    • Support post-settlement date processes, including fails management and reconciliations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Interact with internal and external stakeholders involved in the settlement process chain, adhering to market standards.
    • Engage with clients and external counterparties daily, handling settlement-related queries.
  • Operational Support
    • Provide daily operations support through reconciliation and settlements process of derivative instruments.
    • Validate and confirm trade details between internal systems and counterparty trade recaps to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Problem Resolution
    • Reconcile trade discrepancies and resolve issues promptly to maintain data integrity.
    • Collaborate with front office, middle office, and back-office teams to ensure seamless trade processing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience
    • College/University graduate (preferably Math, Business, Finance or related fields) with a minimum 2-3 years' work experience in Banking, Finance, and/or Investments field.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Familiarity with MS Office suite and knowledge of financial markets and terminology used in Investment Management.
  • Work Arrangement
