A skilled M&A Broker is required to manage and develop a portfolio of sellers, drive client communication, and foster satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to secure listings and guide them through to successful completion.
  • Target potential clients and arrange meetings to showcase the platform's value proposition.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the buyside community and manage strategic partnerships.
  • Develop marketing materials that effectively communicate the organization's expertise, qualifications, and services to potential clients.
  • Support team members in presenting business proposals and negotiate optimal transaction terms.
  • Utilize CRM tools such as HubSpot to track leads, interactions, and opportunities efficiently.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of sellers, ensuring timely support by collaborating with internal departments like Customer Success.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in M&A, Brokering, or Sales.
  • Previous experience in a marketplace environment, particularly digital asset sales, will be considered an advantage.
  • Direct knowledge of the small business sales environment will be beneficial.
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to build personal relationships through phone and in-person interactions.

Measures of Success:

  • This role will be measured by the quality of service provided (e.g. contact touchpoints) and the Total Transaction Value (TTV) represented by the book of sellers.
  • You will be evaluated on the number of managed accounts converted to sale, the volume and quality of regular communication with clients, and client satisfaction.
