Job Overview

The Real Estate Asset Management Analyst role involves driving asset value enhancement and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.

Leverage data-driven insights, strategic planning, and financial acumen to optimize asset performance, bolster leasing efforts, foster strong tenant and property management relationships, and ensure sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support and financial analysis including the preparation of annual business plans, quarterly valuation models, leasing analyses, ongoing monitoring, and reporting of investment performance.
  • Evaluate portfolio composition on an ongoing basis, long-term strategic vision for investment vehicles, and prospective new investment opportunities or strategies.
  • Support all phases of the assets lifecycle from acquisition through development, leasing, asset management, and possible disposition of an asset.
  • Analyze ongoing portfolio risk and cash flow requirements.
  • Draft lease documents and amendments and review the same.
  • Direct property managers towards optimizing portfolio assets.
  • Prepare monthly reporting materials.
  • Assist with management of portfolio insurance.
  • Engage with contractors and vendors during capital project lifecycles.
  • Create processes and KPIs for the team.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Substantial background in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
  • Fluent in commercial real estate terminology and structures.
  • Experience reviewing LOIs, drafting leases and amendments.
  • Experience working with brokers, contractors, and property managers.
  • Exceptional underwriting and financial modeling skills.
  • Understanding of the full real estate capital stack with exposure to complex transactions.
  • Experience providing support with annual business plans, valuation models, leasing analysis, and ongoing investment monitoring.
  • Ability to prepare and present internal and external presentations.
