Job Description:

Soliciting new customers and growing a portfolio of corporate clients through professional account management, marketing, and delivery of bank products and services is key to this role. The goal is to attain mandated targets, maximize profitability for the bank, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

The Relationship Manager will develop and execute overall account strategies to maximize returns from each relationship. This includes identifying target markets and strategies, ensuring optimal coverage of the identified market, and driving customized product account plans in coordination with bank partners.

Building and nurturing relationships at various levels of a corporate organization while maintaining regular dialogue with decision makers and influencers is crucial. The manager will prepare and evaluate credit proposals and line renewals in accordance with established specific account plans and strategies.

Constant analysis of customer's market and financial positions is necessary to identify specific needs and warning signals that may affect credit quality. Maintaining a sound and acceptable credit quality of the loan portfolio under coverage is also essential.

Developing and growing market share of the bank for both asset and liabilities as well as expanding collateral businesses generated from the relationship is another key responsibility. Mentoring Account Specialists on proper account administration and relationship management is also involved.

Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of credit analysis, bank products/services, banking regulations, and respective legal documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in any business course.
  • At least two years of banking industry experience, specifically in corporate banking.
  • Preferably Chinese-speaking.
