Job Opportunity for Product Specialist

We are seeking a skilled product specialist to manage our portfolio of products on Amazon. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management, marketing, or an analytical role in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to take ownership of our products and drive their success day-to-day.
  • You will be responsible for branding content on listings, developing marketing tactics, analyzing financial data, managing customer service, and mitigating risks.
Responsibilities
  1. Analyzing Product Data: You will review and interpret Amazon ASIN-level data to uncover trends, diagnose issues, and propose strategies for growth and troubleshooting.
  2. Managing Listings: You will oversee the health and success of product listings on Amazon, including monitoring key metrics, staying up-to-date with market trends and customer preferences, conducting competitive analysis, adjusting pricing, reporting, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  3. Developing Growth Strategies: You will implement strategies to enhance sales and reduce costs, including price optimization, PPC campaigns, packaging improvements, coupons and deals, customer engagement, and eliminating unprofitable products.
  4. Reporting and Analysis: You will produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports, working closely with our finance team to maintain accurate profit-and-loss statements for your product portfolio.
  5. Proactive Problem-Solving: You will stay ahead of potential issues by understanding the broader ecosystem in which your products compete, including changes in competitor dynamics, industry trends, and Amazon policies.
  6. Business Transition Management: You will lead integration efforts when acquiring new product lines, including auditing the acquired business, optimizing listings, and ensuring seamless transitions of accounts and customer processes.
  7. Legal and Compliance Coordination: You will work with our legal team to address intellectual property issues, product suspensions, and unauthorized sellers.
  8. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE: You will collaborate with our Customer Experience Manager and offshore customer service team to deliver outstanding customer support for your products.
  9. Launch and Expansion: You will partner with internal teams to develop go-to-market strategies, support impactful product launches, and facilitate international expansion.
  10. Supply Chain Coordination: You will ensure products meet quality standards, remain in stock, have updated packaging, and comply with all necessary certifications.
About You
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or an analytical role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
  • Creative problem-solver with a knack for engaging content and innovative ideas.
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data-driven tools and methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred: Familiarity with baby product categories and a strong understanding of the needs and preferences of parents and caregivers.
