Dental Claims Specialist

As a skilled professional in dental claims management, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our valued clients. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and processing claims, resolving issues, and providing top-notch support while upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.

  • You will be responsible for following up on outstanding insurance claims, ensuring all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated by adding notations to patient accounts using track stat and commlog features.
  • Your tasks will involve sending out claims and attachments to insurance companies, determining denial validity, and addressing them accordingly.
  • You will also generate OI reports and ensure their timely completion, as well as resubmit and reprocess claims, including grievances and appeals.
  • Clearing rejected claims on a weekly basis is another critical aspect of your role, along with updating the office tracker to reflect all payments posted, including check scans and EFTs.
  • You will be required to complete assigned follow-ups from office spreadsheets, generate EFT reports, and retrieve EOBs from insurance portals for 100% posting.
  • Fundamental to your success is the ability to work independently as a remote employee, communicating effectively with managers and adhering to work time schedules.
Key Requirements
  • A strong command of verbal and written English, along with excellent interpersonal skills, is essential for effective communication.
  • Background in dental insurance or collections industries is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in collections, combined with high motivation, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • This role demands an individual who can work independently, manage time efficiently, and maintain follow-up skills.
