Senior Cloud Platform Engineer Job Description

The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer is responsible for providing technical delivery leadership on client engagements, leading architectural design sessions with the client, and coaching peers on implementation. They manage client expectations while cultivating a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

This role provides a career path for Cloud Engineers aspiring to lead and guide client engagements from end to end.

  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to junior team members learning the 3Cloud approach to infrastructure engagements.
  • Serve as a coach in a player-coach model to support upskilling of team members and build their confidence in infrastructure delivery.
  • Foster relationships between cloud infrastructure teams and outside of the practice.

This role requires strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements, partnering with Delivery Excellence, and staying up-to-date on the latest technologies impacting existing offerings.
