Business Development Role

">

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. This role involves being the primary liaison with the external real estate community. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local real estate markets and hotel projects.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the future development and expansion of our hotel brands. Key aspects of the role include:

  • Analysis and evaluation of hotel project feasibility to determine growth opportunities
  • Desire to travel extensively (75%) and engage with new and existing owners
  • Representing us at key industry events, conferences, and tradeshows
">

Key Responsibilities

">
  • In charge of sourcing new development deals in respective areas
  • Preparing and presenting deals to Director of Development on a weekly basis
  • Traveling to different cities and areas to meet with prospective landlords
  • Negotiating lease deals and sourcing management deals
  • Inspecting properties and taking photos of potential deals
  • Preparing P&L statements to present to Director of Development

Requirements

  • Real Estate Experience
  • Buying, selling, or leasing commercial real-estate
  • Dealing with lease contracts
  • Knowledge of local real-estate law and permits in each jurisdiction
  • Some construction knowledge to assess renovation costs
  • Computer skills with PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation software
  • Must speak local language and English
  • Valid driver's license
