Data Insights Specialist

Transforming data into actionable insights is at the heart of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in unlocking business potential by extracting valuable information from complex datasets.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Power BI, including design, development, and maintenance of reports and dashboards. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure data veracity, visual excellence, and user satisfaction.
This is a full-time position that requires strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation, as well as knowledge of data visualization best practices. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and a creative approach to tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
- Work closely with teams to understand reporting and analytical needs, providing insights and making recommendations based on data.
- Conduct lifecycle analysis, monitor performance, and quality control plans to ensure data integrity.
- Collect data, analyze outcomes, and provide ongoing reports to support business decisions.
- Recognize trends or patterns in complex data sets, collaborating with stakeholders to collect and understand data requirements.
Nice to Have:
- ETL data from diverse sources into Power BI using Power Query, ensuring seamless data integration.
- Stay up-to-date with Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to improve report quality and user experience.
- Create documentation for Power BI solutions, including metadata management and data lineage.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Specialist in a similar environment.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M language, with expertise in data modeling and designing scalable data architectures.
- Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation, with knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Fluent in English, with good report writing and presenting skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
