Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team.

This role requires extensive travel to customer sites nationwide, providing mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic/electrical testing, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform crane maintenance tasks such as testing, installation, and repair.
  • Conduct crane inspections to diagnose and address any issues.
  • Provide operator training and commissioning on new or used cranes sold to customers.
  • Prepare field service reports and provide recommended parts and maintenance to customers.
  • Complete required documentation including field service reports and timesheets.
  • Attend service trainings to improve technical competencies.
  • Maintain company assets properly.
  • Observe and comply with safety policies and procedures on company and customer premises.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Technology / Mechanical Engineering or 2-year technical course specializing in Electromechanical technology.
  • Basic English oral and written communication skills, computer literate, able to read and interpret technical diagrams, and able to drive.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
  • Extensive domestic travel may be required.
  • Able to work on provincial assignments.
