Senior Occupancy Planner Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing and providing occupancy planning expertise in supply, capacity, and demand for a client's portfolio of space. The Senior Occupancy Planner ensures planning exercises align with the client's strategic vision and often oversees a campus, headquarters, or region of the portfolio comprised of locations with more concentrated headcount.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize space efficiencies by overseeing all facility space and personnel move requests within assigned territory.
  • Develop planning recommendations based on corporate office standards for reconfiguration requests in assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with various teams on efforts including Strategy, Project Management, Facility Management, and Corporate Real Estate.
  • Provide operational and procedural support to ensure projects are executed according to established departmental, building, and client means, methods, and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and three to five years' work experience in fields such as space planning, project management, interior office design, move planning, and facilities planning.
  • Minimum of five to seven years' experience in a corporate real estate environment.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of CAD/CAFM software and space management systems.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in understanding architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design.
  • Experienced in managing projects of varied scope and complexity.
