Improve employee experiences by providing expert payroll support. As a Payroll Analyst in Australia, you will play a key role in ensuring the end-to-end payroll processing for entities is accurate and timely.

This involves working closely with various stakeholders to promptly resolve questions received through ticketing tools and email. You will report to a Senior Manager and contribute to delivering positive employee experiences.

A typical day for you will include:

  • Preparing, reconciling, filing/lodging, and paying PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, IRD, Kiwi Saver, and all statutory requirements for both Australia and New Zealand
  • Complying with government statutory requirements
  • Conducting audits of payroll records
  • Familiarizing yourself and staying up-to-date with taxation of salaries, benefits, and other factors
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies/queries by collecting and analyzing information
  • Supporting, advising, and assisting with process improvement projects

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years' experience in Australian payroll
  • Experience with payroll processing and wage attachment
  • Knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll, and general ledger systems
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in working with diverse populations
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
