Australian Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Australian Payroll Specialist to join our team.
As an Australian Payroll Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end payroll processing for Australia and New Zealand entities.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare, reconcile, file/lodge, and pay PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, IRD, Kiwi Saver, and all statutory requirements for both Australia and New Zealand.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Conduct audits of payroll records to identify areas for improvement.
- Familiarize yourself with taxation of salaries, benefits, and other factors to provide accurate advice.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies/queries by collecting and analyzing information.
- Support process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in Australian payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll processing and wage attachment.
- Knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll, and general ledger systems.
- Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
