Job Overview

A Network Professional with experience in cloud service provider environments seeks a challenging role. The ideal candidate will thrive in a customer-centric environment, working collaboratively to drive innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and support logical circuit connections across the backbone to customer sites and regions.
  • Manage and maintain access level switches and other devices.
  • Participate in responding to Networking/Security platforms and ensure adherence to customer and infrastructure SLA uptimes.
  • Utilize approved tools to verify and take required action on events aggregated from network monitoring tools and Web Application Firewall.
  • Troubleshoot and sometimes solve complex network connectivity issues, adding/modifying NAT entries and firewall rules, and initiating routes to enable connectivity.
Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 2-5 years of experience in infrastructure/network environments and designing, planning, documenting, and implementing LANs and WANs using latest technology.
  • Experience with Cisco routing/switching/firewall products, including IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and NX-OS service provider level infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience deploying and configuring Palo Altos, Cisco ASA's, and other firewalls.
  • Expertise in IP Technologies and extensive knowledge of WAN technologies, including MPLS, SD-WAN, DWDM, etc.
  • Understanding of IP routing protocols, such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
  • Knowledge of Cisco encryption technologies (IPSec, SSL), and hot standby protocols HSRP and VRRP.
  • Advanced understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, including common application protocols.
  • Experience with monitoring platforms, such as Netmon, Solarwinds, Icinga, etc.
