Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative team as a Cloud Security Engineer. As a key member of our Cloud Networking team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud security and networking, with experience working with next-generation firewall technologies such as Fortinet and Palo Alto. They are also proficient in VMware environments and have a solid understanding of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Work closely with internal teams and customers to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of customer and infrastructure configurations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Technical Skills:
  • 1-3 years of experience working with Fortinet and Palo Alto UTM next-generation firewall technologies
  • Experience implementing multi-tenancy using VDOMs within FortiOS
  • 1-3 years of experience deploying firewall VMs and basic navigation of VMware environments
  • VMware vSphere, NSX-V & NSX-T SDN technologies experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
  • Familiarity with Python, Ansible, or similar automation technology is a plus
