Inventory Control Specialist

This role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring that third-party logistics providers adhere to established inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track inventory movement, storage, and reporting by 3PL partners.
  • Analyze and improve inventory accuracy KPIs such as Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), Daily Cycle Count Compliance Rate, and Losses/Damage Percentage.
  • Coordinate and conduct cycle counts and physical inventory counts as per agreed schedules.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with 3PL counterparts to ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements based on recurring issues or gaps.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • At least 2 to 4 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a 3PL or warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially with external partners.
  • Detailed knowledge of cycle counting, inventory classification (ABC), and warehouse best practices.
  • Proficient in Excel and data reconciliation tools.
  • Ability to perform fieldwork and adapt to changing situations.
