We are seeking a proactive and motivated Credit Controller to manage aged debt reports, clear receipts from payments, and ensure timely payments from clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review and generate aged debt reports to identify overdue payments and provide insight for management.
  2. Match receipts with corresponding payments to maintain accurate records.
  3. Contact clients via phone or email regarding outstanding invoices and negotiate payment commitments.
  4. Negotiate payment commitments and follow up for timely payments to prevent revenue loss.
  5. Perform credit checks on new clients and update their credit limits accordingly.
  6. Liaise with the finance team to resolve payment discrepancies and improve cash flow.
  7. Monitor and report collection progress to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable is required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle phone and email conversations effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software to streamline processes.
  • Knowledge of credit checks and debt collection processes to ensure compliance.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy to ensure data quality.
