Service Desk Technician

We're looking for a skilled Helpdesk - Service Desk Junior Associate Technician to join our team at TeleTech Holdings, Inc. As a member of our IT support team, you'll be responsible for resolving IT-related issues and inquiries from users.
About the Job:
The Helpdesk - Service Desk Associate Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. They are responsible for responding to problems with computer hardware or software, assessing issues, and working closely with other IT team members to provide assistance on tasks outside their expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound phone calls and log tickets in the ticketing system
- Manage emails and web-based ticket queues
- Take ownership of emails that arrive in the team mailbox and reply to the sender with a status of the issue
- Resolve non-critical requests/problems submitted via web-based ticket or escalate to the appropriate team for resolution
- Document progress of resolving the issue and results of testing fixes
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Desktop support/troubleshooting
- Understanding of basic network connectivity and troubleshooting
- Ability to multitask in a highly stressful environment
