We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a key role.

Job Description

As a Collections Professional, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring timely payments. Your primary focus will be on maintaining effective communication with clients, resolving disputes, and implementing strategies to improve cash flow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Verifying order details for accuracy and ensuring all orders are reviewed and processed within agreed timeframes.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Resolving basic discrepancies and maintaining records of customer transactions and payment status.
  • Flagging potential credit risks to team leads or managers for issue resolution.
  • Maintaining records of credit approvals and adjustments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Order to Cash (O2C) with basic accounting knowledge and understanding of various accounting principles.
  • Good understanding or working knowledge of general finance concepts and principles.
  • Applied knowledge and understanding of Customer Masterdata Management, Order and Credit Management, Billing and Invoicing, Collections and Disputes, Deductions, and Cash Application.
  • Experience in participating and collaborating in team meetings to gather/share information.
  • Ability to achieve individual and business metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting all baseline and project goals for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skills in MS Excel.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • At least a year of accumulated experience in collections support, preferably business-to-business (B2B).
