Job Overview

The EHS professional plays a vital role in maintaining a strong safety culture within the organization by ensuring all regulatory, corporate, and site-specific requirements are met.

This role involves collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to compliance, performance, and risk. It requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Input, maintain, and update internal EHS databases and logs.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute EHS performance reports.
  • Manage document versions and ensure accessibility of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with contractors, labs, or suppliers for compliance support.
  • Initiate fact-finding activities for minor incidents and near misses.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Environment Health and Safety roles is required.
  • Experience as a Safety Officer or Pollution Control Officer is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, etc.) is necessary.
Education and Certifications:
  • A college degree in Environmental, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • Certifications such as Accredited Safety Practitioner or Accredited Pollution Control Officer are an asset.
Working Conditions:
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Regular attendance at the office is required.
