The Global Operational Risk & Resilience Oversight team reports directly to the senior leadership. The role focuses on Business Continuity Management and is part of the second line of defense independent oversight function.

About the Role:

  1. Lead the development, coordination, implementation, and ongoing governance of the Business Continuity Risk Management Standard.
  2. Analyze regulatory requirements on business continuity risk, including best practices to keep the BCM Standard relevant.
  3. Engage with key stakeholders across risk segments to gather feedback and develop effective tracking mechanisms for managing change.
  4. Oversee business disruption risk metrics from the first line of defense, identify potential breaches, and recommend actions.
  5. Create training materials and facilitate training sessions as needed.
  6. Promote a strong risk culture and oversee related risk culture assessments.

Key Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of operational risk management experience, with strong familiarity with Crisis Management, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, and Third Party Risk Management.
  2. Deep knowledge of operational processes, risks, and controls.
  3. Broad understanding of financial services/insurance industry and products.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools is advantageous.
