Medical Information Specialist Job Opportunity

This role involves providing accurate and timely medical information to customers via various channels, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • In this position, you will be responsible for handling inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and other external parties regarding pharmaceutical products.
  • You will need to provide detailed responses to their queries, ensuring that the information is up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, letter, fax, or scientific meetings, providing accurate and compliant medical information.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in responses and adherence to company policies.
  3. Identify, document, and report adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situation events, and product complaints accurately and efficiently.
  4. Manage and maintain quality in all areas of the job, including performing quality checks on adverse events, product quality complaints, correspondence, and enquiries logged into the system.
  5. Provide after-hours coverage on a rotated basis, subject to business requirements.

Requirements:

  • A life science degree or nursing degree (RN/BS/BA/MS) or pharmacy degree is required for this position.
