Pharmacy Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our community pharmacy team. In this role, you will provide direct support to pharmacists, ensure prescriptions are processed accurately, and deliver exceptional service to every customer. You will also assist with store operations, inventory management, and over-the-counter product sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and assist customers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Process prescription requests: entering patient information, preparing, and labeling medications under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Handle transactions at the pharmacy counter, including cash, debit/credit, and insurance billing.
• Provide guidance on over-the-counter (OTC) products within scope, directing customers to the pharmacist for clinical questions.
• Maintain stock levels: receive, check, and organize deliveries; rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Keep the pharmacy and front-of-store area clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards.
• Support the pharmacist in administrative duties such as record keeping and prescription filing.
• Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in pharmacy assistance or healthcare is an asset.
• Previous retail or pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent and effective in verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Up to Php15,000.00 per month
