Instructional Designer

We're looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at LeadAdvisors. As a key member of our marketing firm's training program, you'll play a crucial role in developing a comprehensive onboarding experience for our new call center team, specializing in financial sales. Your goal will be to create engaging, interactive training content on Moodle (or similar platforms) that will equip new hires with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build a structured onboarding course on Moodle, focusing on equipping call center reps with skills for inbound and outbound financial sales.
- Develop and organize a comprehensive set of training materials, from sales techniques to CRM best practices and compliance standards, ensuring logical flow and ease of use.
- Create assessments, quizzes, and feedback mechanisms to verify learning comprehension, ensuring new hires are ready to perform effectively.
- Design with remote learners in mind, ensuring all content is accessible, user-friendly, and scalable across devices and internet speeds.
- Collaborate with call center managers, HR, and quality assurance teams to align training with our marketing and sales objectives in the financial industry.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years) with Moodle or similar LMS, including content creation, customization, and using multimedia elements to enhance learning.
- Strong background in instructional design for sales training, especially for remote or international teams within regulated industries.
- Ability to structure complex content into clear, digestible modules, focused on an optimal learning path for new hires.
- Familiarity with financial services, sales compliance, and customer relationship management processes is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration and clear instructional content.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with analytics to measure training effectiveness and learner engagement.
- Familiarity with call center or CRM tools relevant to sales and lead generation in the financial services sector.
