Senior Scrum Master

As a seasoned Senior Scrum Master, you will provide expert guidance to our Engineering Scrum Teams and help drive high-impact software and feature delivery that meets the needs of our customers.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Effective Communication: Facilitating open communication among team members to ensure everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.
  • Project Progress: Keeping all stakeholders informed of project progress and ensuring that teams are on track to meet deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Feedback: Providing timely feedback to stakeholders to ensure their concerns and expectations are addressed.
  • Agile Values: Championing agile values, principles, and practices within the organization to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Scrum Team Development: Onboarding, training, and mentoring scrum team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Scrum Ceremonies: Facilitating scrum ceremonies, including stand-up meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and more.
  • Product Backlog Optimization: Helping Product Owners refine, arrange, and optimize product backlogs to ensure that teams are working on the most valuable items first.
  • Team Success: Removing roadblocks that can hinder team progress and adjusting Agile practices as needed to facilitate efficient software delivery.
  • Release Planning: Coordinating with release planning and deployment activities to ensure seamless handoffs and minimal downtime.

Requirements include:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Agile Scrum Master Certification (strongly preferred).
