Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Solutions Engineering team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions and managing teams of engineers.

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Python engineers working remotely in global locations. This includes hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. You will also demonstrate sound engineering principles by directly contributing code yourself.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud computing concepts & technologies, as well as knowledge of Linux servers, including their storage and networking. You should also be comfortable administrating Linux servers, and have hands-on experience with software automation.

You will be responsible for planning and managing progress on agreed goals and projects, setting and managing expectations with other engineering and operations teams, and coordinating with management and internal and external stakeholders or customers.

Advocating for modern, agile software development practices, helping develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices, growing a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values, and being an active part of the leadership team are all key aspects of this role.
