Corporate Affairs Associate Role

We are seeking an ambitious and analytical Corporate Affairs Associate to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in risk management, working closely with a manager to analyze information, formulate strategies, and develop recommendations to mitigate risk for high-priority projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing projects to ensure all related teams are informed of risk and execute plan accordingly.
  • Review internal and external communications strategy meant to protect the organization's reputation.
  • Ensure external communication is effective, consistent, and reflect company branding and values.
  • Regular collection and review of incident reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide advice and guidance to teams consulting on their projects and incidents; and
  • Perform audits on high-risk processes and implement improvements to address source of risk.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in analytical, problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment
  • Has experience in any of the following: Project Management, Stakeholder management, Communications
  • Preferred but not required: Experience working in logistics industry, consulting
Essential Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to effectively communicate verbally and written and collaborate with stakeholders of all levels
  • Self-starter personality and strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Good collaborator and eager to learn
  • Proficient in Excel/GSheets to process data and analyze information
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience with tight deadlines and dealing with conflicting priorities, whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
