Software Automation Tester Job Description

About the Role
  • A key member of an Agile team, delivering high-quality product increments in short iterations.
  • Participating in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and debugging of new and existing features.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define clear and achievable acceptance criteria.
  • Defining test plans and strategies, performing manual and automated tests covering functional and non-functional aspects.
  • Crafting and developing test frameworks and automation tools to support continuous testing across the SDLC.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Agile Testing
  2. Test Planning and Analysis
  3. Automated and Manual Test Script Development and Execution
  4. Exploratory Testing and Risk-Based Analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in end-to-end software application testing using lean Agile practices.
  • Experience in Agile testing and contributions to other SDLC activities.
  • Experience in test automation frameworks, test planning, analysis, and design.
  • Familiarity with Agile testing approaches like TDD/BDD.
