Technical Lead for Agile Software Development

This is an opportunity to lead and inspire a regional software engineering team in the development of next-generation infrastructure-as-code solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing progress on agreed goals and projects, setting and managing expectations with other engineering and operations teams, and coordinating with management and internal stakeholders or customers.

As a technical leader, you will demonstrate sound engineering principles by directly contributing code yourself and advocating for modern, agile software development practices.

  • You will grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values and be an active part of the leadership team, collaborating with other leaders in the organization.
  • You will travel globally up to 10% of time for internal and external events.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join our team and drive the development of our infrastructure-as-code solutions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and inspiring software engineering teams and demonstrating sound engineering principles through direct code contributions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing software engineering teams
  • A strong background in software development, including experience with Python
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a remote team environment
