Job Description:

  • We are seeking a talented Engineering Manager to join our BootStack team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a growing engineering team, overseeing day-to-day Managed Service of customer environments, and implementing disciplined engineering and operations processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of professional experience in software delivery using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar, as well as managing operations teams.
  • Experience with OpenStack is essential, while Linux system administration, Ubuntu/Debian, and cloud topologies and technologies are highly desirable.
  • The Engineering Manager will be responsible for ensuring proper team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables, and working to meet service level agreements with customer deployments around the globe.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) education in a technology field
  • Proven experience with agile software development methodologies
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills
  • Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems
  • Experience working in and managing distributed teams
