Contract Management Specialist

This role entails overseeing the preparation, review and management of contracts for subcontractors and suppliers.

The successful candidate will verify contract terms, scope coverage and inclusions/exclusions to ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Prepare and review contracts for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Verify contract terms, scope coverage and inclusions/exclusions to ensure accuracy.
  • Double-check material quantities and scope coverage against project requirements.
  • Utilize Bluebeam to review drawings, markups and perform takeoffs as required.
  • Identify discrepancies or gaps in contractor submissions and recommend solutions.
  • Review and compare contractor quotes and scopes to ensure accurate evaluation.
  • Prepare recommendations for contractor selection based on price, scope and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contractor pricing and project-related documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in contract administration or project support within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam for drawing review, takeoffs and documentation. ApprovalMax experience valued.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, scopes and construction documentation.
  • Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • High attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with construction management software.
