Project and Construction Management Head

A Project Technical Head oversees and directs daily operations at construction sites, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently according to the contract, budgets, deadlines, and standards. Their responsibilities typically include delegating tasks, handling the funds, preparing site reports, liaising with clients and engineers, setting objectives and guidelines, and monitoring the progress of all operations, resolving issues should any arise. Moreover, he will represent SPI by handling inter-departmental teams such as PCM, SCM, CAD, QAU, TP, and Survey to reach goals, while implementing construction site safety policies and standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment for everyone.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Plan review with all SPI inter-departments
  2. Strategize a system for operational project implementation and monitoring
  3. Plan, implement, and monitor the construction regional operational strategy
  4. Set goals and objectives for projects in the area or region
  5. Oversee operations to ensure efficiency and output on the project
  6. Recruit and hire new technically capable and qualified team members
  7. Set up and monitor KPIs and OKRs to ensure achievement of company objectives and targets
  8. Ensure compliance with the company's policies and operational guidelines
  9. Deal with customer complaints and concerns
  10. Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest solutions for improvement
  11. Create reports for upper management
  12. Oversee Project Managers and Project In-charges
  13. Collaborate with all SPI inter-departments (PMO, PCM, TP, CAD, SCM, QAU, and Survey)
Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture

  • Must be a Licensed Professional (Passed PRC Board Exam or equivalent)

  • PMP Certification is an advantage

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in project management
