We are seeking a highly skilled and methodical finance professional to support our dynamic team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

You will also assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as support internal and external audits through accurate record keeping and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Flow and Treasury
    • Monitor and forecast cash flow on a regular basis
    • Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
    • Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable
    • Issue customer invoices and manage accounts receivable and credit control
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances monthly
  • Payroll and Expenses
    • Support end-to-end payroll processing, including reconciliations and adjustments
    • Manage employee expense claims and ensure compliance with policies
    • Analyse expense trends and suggest cost-saving opportunities
