Job Overview
The Retail and Training Manager is a dynamic role that requires a strategic business leader with exceptional coaching skills to direct the future of our retail space.
This role will lead by example, with a genuine passion for luxury retail and outstanding customer service true to Shiseido's DNA of Omotenashi.
Main Responsibilities
Retail Management- Be the brand ambassador and advocate of innovation at retail stores.
- Achieve targets and manage NPS and CRM data.
- Provide detailed feedback to Brand Managers on successes and challenges through regular in-store visits.
- Manage FTE and Headcount targets for stores and monitor productivity levels.
- Implement action plans to grow sales and KPIs of assigned stores, including workshops and in-store activities.
- Identify opportunities through market analysis and react to maximize results.
- Develop Beauty Consultants with a focus on service and commercial skill sets through coaching and training.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop new starters into the business.
- Contribute to digital learning and engagement.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure consistency, success, and achieve results together.
- Owning talent development and coaching of retail teams to exceed targets and provide career progression, upskilling, and enabling Team Managers.
- Effectively manage performance to maximize sales and service performance.
- Maintain BC-related cases with appointed agencies.
- Monitor and report stock levels specific to retail sellout: testers, tools, etc.
- E nsure excellence of brand image in stores at all times; counters, displays, team, etc.
- Champion simplicity through ways of working with head office and field teams.
- Manage budget and expenses pertaining to Training.
- Provide proactive feedback to Head Office departments to drive collaboration between brands.
- Influence across functions to ensure a joint-up approach through Education, Artistry, and Events.

- Improve NPS and Mystery Shopper through implementing action plans based on feedback.
- Train and coach on selling and service.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 3 years combined sales and training experience within the retail industry.
- Prior experience working in multinational or global brands or companies.
- Degree in marketing, education, psychology, or other business-related courses from top-tier universities/colleges.
- Previous sales and team management experience, ideally within the beauty industry.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience and understanding of effective sales techniques, customer service, and proven ability to drive results.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Capability in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Outlook.
