Job Overview

The role of Policy Compliance Specialist involves ensuring organizational policies and procedures are up-to-date, compliant with standards, and reviewed regularly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Management & Compliance Coordination
    • Lead the curation and maintenance of a centralized master library of current policies and archived versions.
    • Coordinate review cycles and updates to ensure timely compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Policy Development & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Draft new policies based on leadership directives, operational goals, or regulatory changes.
    • Engage stakeholders for feedback and incorporate suggested changes into policy documents.
  • Regulatory Reporting Oversight
    • Maintain a calendar of required reports for licensing, funding, and accreditation entities.
    • Coordinate with departments to ensure timely submission of required documentation.
  • Governance & Compliance Meetings
    • Schedule recurring meetings for compliance, quality assurance, and risk management.
    • Create agendas, track attendance, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Policy Inquiry Response & Gap Resolution
    • Provide accurate responses and guidance to staff regarding existing policies and procedures.
    • Draft new policies or procedures when necessary, aligning with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or Legal Studies (Master's preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or policy management within a healthcare organization.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, strong technical writing skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with cloud-based document systems, project tracking platforms, and AI tools.
