Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Framework Architect to spearhead the development of high-quality, scalable automation frameworks. This role requires deep expertise in Playwright and modern automation tools, as well as a solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing efficient, reusable automation frameworks, with a focus on end-to-end (E2E) testing using Playwright. They will also possess strong leadership skills, able to guide cross-functional teams and drive automation adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop highly efficient automation frameworks, leveraging Playwright and other modern tools.
  • Leverage industry best practices and design patterns to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Lead the evolution of test automation architecture, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct research and evaluation of cutting-edge tools to improve automation coverage, performance, and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in automation best practices and Playwright expertise.
  • Provide strategic guidance on test automation adoption across teams, influencing company-wide QA strategy.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to enhance test execution strategies and reporting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience in QA Automation.
  • Proven expertise in Selenium and Playwright.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, WebdriverIO, and Typescript.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
