Job Overview

As a seasoned Human Resources professional, you will be responsible for managing the intricacies of HR compliance, payroll management, and bookkeeping principles. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive data with discretion.

The selected candidate will be tasked with handling 1099 contractors, W-4 forms, and maintaining employee records accurately. Additionally, they must possess expertise in payroll processing using ADP or similar systems, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures tailored to the company's growth.
  • Supporting payroll processing and addressing employee inquiries and complaints.
  • Managing expenses and reconciling financial transactions efficiently.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with accountants or consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will also conduct conversations with employees on HR-related topics.

Requirements
  • Proficiency with ADP for payroll and QuickBooks or Xero for bookkeeping (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing US-specific HR tasks, including contractor and employee compliance.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to address and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage sensitive data with discretion.
