Job Overview:

An Accounting Compliance Specialist is a highly skilled professional responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial systems and records within an organization. At St. Catherine Realty Corporation, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Auditor.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough audits of financial records, identifying areas of concern, and implementing corrective measures to rectify any issues found during the audit process.

Auditors play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing detailed reports on their findings.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Protects assets by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
  • Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
  • Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
  • Appraises adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit questionnaires.
  • Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires, and recommending new policies and procedures.
  • Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report and discussing findings with auditees.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local security legal requirements by studying existing and new security legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepares special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and content, and participating in professional societies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Female
  • Must have a background in accountancy
  • For Graduates of Accountancy: At least 1-year related experience
  • Additional distinctions or certifications can be an advantage
  • Auditing and general accounting practices
  • Knowledge of Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS)
  • Laws, rules, and regulations

  • Understanding of applicable accounting and banking laws
