Job Title: Mining Account Strategist

This is a challenging full-time role for a Mining Account Strategist. This position involves developing and executing strategies to manage existing mining clients, expand their business relationships, and identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development: Achieve annual sales targets by liaising with the quote and fulfillment team to deliver customer needs in a timely manner. Ensure quotations and sales conversions meet expectations. Provide suggestions for growing the business at existing and new customers through upselling and introducing new product lines.
  • Manage client relationships by regularly visiting key accounts, maintaining relationships from executive level to ground personnel, and monitoring competition to ensure quotations are competitive and customer-specific.
  • Provide technical support by checking equipment/motorpool for after-sales support, inspecting undercarriage wear and tear, and providing training.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 8 years of work experience, preferably in mining fleet maintenance or sales targeting mining accounts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively to mine sites
Preferred Attributes:
  • Strong knowledge of heavy machinery and parts used in mining operations is an advantage
  • Mining Engineer or Mechanical Engineering degree is beneficial
  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
